‘What the hell is this?’ (BeingHuman/Twilight)

Video

There’s not much new in the world of Aidan Turner…being stuck in Hobbitville and all.  I’ve searched high, I’ve searched low. What I did find is an oldie, but goodie, youtube video. (Being Human / Twilight) I can’t help but laugh every time I watch it! Props to whom ever made this, brilliant. “You mean that’s suppose to be sexy?” ~~George

‘Where do I belong?’ (Mitchell Quote)

Standard

‘Where do I belong?

Where do I fit?

Who are my people?

Where do my loyalties lie?

We all choose our tribe. It’s that need to belong, to live within boundaries, cause it’s scary on the outside, on the fringes. Some labels are forced on us. They mock us, set us apart ’til we’re like ghosts, drifting through other people’s lives. But only if we let the labels hold. You can piss your whole life away trying out who you might be. It’s when you’ve worked out who you are that you can really start to live.’ ~~ John Mitchell (Being Human, Episode 4)

Resonance Trailer

Video

I recently read a blog entry by Neil Horner (2nd unit director) about the new TV pilot Resonance starring Aidan Turner.  The way he described the project had me interested in learning more, which led me to ‘Will you help‘ and Resonance on facebook. The interactive aspect of this new series is extremely intriguing: unlocking codes, challenges, and allowing the audience to engage in the story line. I honestly can’t wait for more and to learn how I, too, can get involved!

Here’s the Resonance trailer with *sighs* Aidan.

On A Side Note ~ Notes To Aidan

Dear Aidan,

I know you’re somewhere down under-ish in New Zealand filming The Hobbit… and you’re working and all… but do you really have to stay away for so long?  Your absence has forced me into a sad slump of watching Bridget Jones’ Diary (over and over) while sitting around with Ben and Jerry and empty wine bottles. It’s a bitter cry for single (and married) ladies everywhere trying to get their Aidan fix.

I’ve stalked Tumblr (nothing new). I’ve looked thru twitter (nothing new). So, I’ve reverted to drooling over analyzing the pic of you as Kili.

I miss the gorgeous messy curls, fangs and fingerless gloves of Mitchell, but this works, too. I mean… I’ve never really found big ears attractive on a man but you make them seem incredibly lickable sexy.

Netflix has been my BFF lately.  They must have known that I’ve been going through withdraws and sent me the first disc of Desperate Romantics to help heal my pain. It almost worked. I was really digging the side burns until they reminded me of Mitchell’s stubble, which is now somewhere in Hobbitville on the dwarf Kili, far… far away. *sobs*

Really missing your face,

Jae

(On A Side Note ~ Notes To Aidan:   All in good spirited fun… Just an amusing and entertaining way for me to say what’s on my mind aside from the obvious News or Pics collected. 🙂 Wanna leave a little note for Aidan? Mail me (TemperShae@gmail.com) your message and I’ll try to post it.)

Could this be the end of Being Human?

Standard

This bit of news isn’t exactly all about Aidan, but definitely related. Russell Tovey of Being Human has revealed that he, too, will be leaving the popular supernatural drama after the end of season 4. His character of George, the werewolf, will be written out of the series. In an interview by The Guardian Russell says,  “Well, I’ve actually left Being Human but no one [outside of the show] knows yet. Aidan‘s left to film The Hobbit in New Zealand…and going on without him in this fourth season felt strange.” Russell plans to continue his work on the romantic comedy series Him and Her.

With the departure of Aidan Turner as the vampire, Mitchell, still fresh on everyone’s mind, and now Tovey (as George) being gone… it’s hard to imagine Being Human going on to a fifth season. In the beginning there were the three… then there were only two. And now? Is it going to be a ghost of a series?
